Welcome to
NATURAL STUDIES Learning PodS

Participate in Project-based and environmental-related lessons that are engaging and fun; all the while weaving in epic primitive living skills and natural history education!

We will offer a vast education outdoors, immersing students in a learning environment, in ways that traditional models can’t. With a whole- child-led focus, students become invested in their education and foster a lifelong relationship with the land, their mentors and classmates, and the community. Here students are supported to push their own boundaries through safe mentor led supported risks, thereby teaching them independence, confidence, resilience, and perseverance.  By offering more in an outdoor environment,  allows children to develop a strong sense of self and a natural love of science, creativity, writing, natural history and more. In this design children are naturally accessing their whole imaginations, incorporating their whole focus, all the while growing into amazing earth stewards.

We are working with our professional and lay leaders to take a balanced and active approach to our natural learning pod planning, while following the Covid-19 Safe County Guidelines.

Here is how BEan can help you on your learning journey through this time:
  • We can create a safe private learning cohort/pod for your group of learners
  • Your learner may join us with our collaborative teaching community at  A TEAM Homeschool Community  on  Thursdays in a learning pod/cohort.
  • Your learner may join BEan on their choice day on Tuesday or Wednesday or Saturday NATURAL HISTORY OUTDOOR Learning Pods at the County Parks in Morgan Hill and Cupertino.
  • As we have seen throughout this difficult time, the situation continues to evolve at such a rapid pace, so we will offer 4 week and 6 week rotations, depending on the program.

Please trust, we will continue to follow the SC Guidance of stable groups, offering 6 week rotation for students, children in the same household can be in the same group whenever possible, symptom screening before camp, clear and concise hygiene protocol and plenty of room and outdoor safe space to have for each child.
