"My girls (now aged 13 and 15) have been attending Marisa's camps for a few years now. They have learned many amazing outdoor survival skills (fire making, wild edibles, shelter building), primitive crafting, cooperative game play, sensory games, songs, and so much more! Every year, when I ask them what camps they might want to do, they always say BEan In Nature. Marisa home schools her two boys, plus has the education and training to lead children in the outdoors. Check them out!" ~Heather Ward mom to Michelle and Sarah
My daughters have been attending Bean In Nature Summer camps and Saturday Nature Connection classes for three years and they never tire. A day in the redwoods crafting, hiking, creating and playing does wonders for mind and body. My girls have learned knife skills, plant-based first-aid, how to make cordage, wildlife biology, and campfire safety. Bean In Nature provides a friendly, comfortable setting that promotes both cooperation and independence. In fact, my older daughter wants to become a junior counselor- highly recommend this program! Thank you! Jenn, mom to 2 amazing girls
