Eco Earth Science and Ecology Journalists; Writing With Nature

Ryan says: "I like that an animal is brought to class every day. I really like the educational games. I thought the video about whales that Marisa had us watch was cool."
Jennie, Ryan's mom says: "My son has taken classes with Marisa the last two semesters. I love the various ways the kids learn, such as games about the water cycle and reporting back to class on a small take-home assignment. It's fun to get his excited report right after class, but also to hear him share all the information he had learned come out through our week. He has gained a lot of facts about the environment, as well as a deeper appreciation for how our world works!"

- We help students discover that, collectively, they can make a difference by taking a conscious and active role in protecting nature through engaging Eco Earth Science Lessons!
- We provide engaging in sustainable and self sufficient science lessons with Permaculture topics.
- We Lead students to collectively act on their concerns and passions through various forms of environmental stewardship for our class base site and beyond!
- Provide a direct, safe animal encounter with some combination of reptiles, amphibians, insects, arthropods, and mammals.
We will learn, explore, observe, journal, investigate current environmental topics about our lands, Native cultures, and influential people involved in the preservation of wild places, native plants, native wildlife, water, atmosphere, energy, and human issues in our local lands and beyond.
Through participation in our activities, students will have opportunities to share what they are learning, including their opinions and their own ideas, with their fellow students, family, and community members.
