Testimonial from Nature Awareness student and his mother~
"Diamond is awesome!" says Rory, nature awareness student at Riekes
Diamond was my pre-teen's nature instructor for two years at Riekes Nature Awareness Program. He is extraordinary in many ways. He listens to each child, discovering his/her individual interests and has a gentle way of drawing out a child's curiosity and appreciation of nature. He shares his stories, knows great nature-related games, and teaches primitive skills, that they come home thrilled to know. We feel very fortunate to have had his mentorship. ~Kelly, mom to Rory

Youth will interact with nature by familiarizing themselves with different aspects of ancient survival living.
Parents of Teens and Preteens Both Age Groups, youngers and orders, are woven together for morning circle and games, then, campers launch off for the day to spend time with their own age group often working side by side, but more developmentally aligned with your child's own age group.
*We now have a $25 per camper/per week San Mateo County park surcharge. This was recently added due to county park system mandate. We apologize!
*This does not include the County Park Entrance fee of $6 per vehicle entrance into the park, per day at parks.
The original meaning of kung fu is not a martial art. It means to develop a skill through work and effort. ~John Muir Laws
